Two days after having surgery on her right clavicle (collarbone), our client was involved in a serious accident after a negligent driver failed to yield at a stop sign. In the collision our client’s left clavicle bone was broken. After conservative treatment including physical therapy failed, our client was forced to undergo surgery to repair the fracture. A 7-hole stainless steel surgical plate was attached to our client’s bone with 35 mm cortical screws to secure the fracture. During her recovery our client missed a significant time in lost wages and was not able to participate in many family activities.
