This case involved a collision between a citizen and a law enforcement official who had just initiated his emergency lights – but no sirens. Our client proceeded through a green light and was struck when the law enforcement official proceeded through a red light. DeVaughn James loves our law enforcement officials – but they have to adhere to the law just like everyone else – and the law requires lights and sirens. Our client sustained lower extremity fractures and traumatic head injury.
